Malicious Ads inside Photopea?

Did you see a malicious ad in Photopea? Help us track it down!

Millions of people use Photopea. Our ad system contains thousands of ads, which are displayed to users depending on their language, location, and other parameters. Once in a while, somebody reports a malicious ad (a fullscreen ad, an ad which plays sound, an ad which opens a new website without clicking, etc.).

Even if it is reported by only one user, it could be displayed to tens or even hundreds of users, ruining their experience. Two steps can help us remove such an ad: Report with the Audit and Provide More Information.

Report with the Audit

Click into the URL area of your browser and add "/#audit" right after "photopea.com", and press Enter.

Now, each ad contains a red box with a text "Report This Ad". Just click the ad which was causing problems, and that is it! :)

Provide More Information

In the next step, please, write us an email to support@photopea.com with the following details:

• The country where you're based. You can also tell us your city.
• The browser and device used (e.g. MS Edge / Windows 10 laptop, or Chrome on an iPad)
• A screenshot of the ad (or a video of the ad behaviour)
• If the ad opens another website, tell us the link (the URL) of that new website.
